Adviser Cam sessions are open from 8am till 2am everyday. Once you have registered you will be able to access an Adviser cam session. Only one person can join a cam session at any time so if the room is full you may have to wait until there is an available space.
Advisers can only chat with people who have fully functioning Microphone and Web Cam equipment.
Although Adviser Cam runs from 8am till 2am sometimes there may a delay before an adviser is available to answer a call, in the event of this there will be a message stating when the next adviser will be free.
All Adviser cam sessions are recorded and subject to the same confidentiality policy as the rest of the Connexions Direct service.
Chat room topics and session times are available on the site and are regularly updated. Once you have registered you will be able to access the chat rooms, however the chat room session will only become active at the time stated on this site.
To join an Adviser Cam session or a chat room just click the link on the left of this page under the heading of 'Chat Room/Adviser Cam'.
All Connexions Direct rooms are moderated. A moderator will post your question on the site and the adviser will then respond. Please do not attempt to post any messages containing your personal details, such as your address.
If you require any further advice once the Adviser Cam or chat room session is over, you can contact an adviser on a one to one basis. Advisers can be contacted by Adviser Online, email, telephone or SMS text message, full details can be found on the Connexions Direct communication channel page.
